The National Trust own the allotments opposite Clyst Vale Community College. They are available to rent for £20 per year. If you're interested in renting one, please contact the National Trust.

The soil is excellent, although the site is a little exposed on the top of the hill. The plots are absolutely huge. A free unlimited supply of manure is available from Newhall Equestrian Farm, about a mile away.

On a summers evening you can stroll up and fight the eternal fight against the rampaging weeds, or take a moment to enjoy the peace, watching the swallows fly overhead....
