Residents in Broadclyst Parish have access to many communtiy clubs, groups and associations, offering something for everyone and the opportunity to try something new!

Broadclyst Baby and Toddler Group

The Broadclyst Baby and Toddler Group meets once a week

Location: Pavilions in Broadclyst Village

When: Fridays between 10am and 11:30am (term-time only)

We offer a place to play, relax and have a good old sing-song, and that's just for the adults!

0-4 year olds can come along and get creative, meeting new friends and find fun things to do. We organise visits and trips out and seasonal activities.

The sessions run on a drop-in basis with no need to book. Costs are £2 per child including all craft and cooking materials, toddler snack + drink and a nice cuppa for the grown-ups.

Broadclyst Bowls Club

Broadclyst Bowls Club is a friendly club that meets at the Pavilions on a Tuesday 5 - 7pm, Wednesday and Friday 2 - 4pm from mid-April to mid-September.

All welcome; free instruction available for non-players.

Broadclyst Environment Group

The Broadclyst Environment Group brings together people passionate about the environment in the Broadclyst Parish and surrounding areas (including Westclyst, Tithebarn, and nearby hamlets). Our goal is to take local action and make a real difference in our community, showing our children that we care about their future. We celebrate the environmental efforts happening here and coordinate through our Facebook page and an active WhatsApp group. Everyone is welcome to join us! Broadclyst Gardening Club

Broadclyst Gardening Club is a friendly informal group for all those interested in gardens, plants and flower growing.

From hobby gardeners to the dedicated hard-core gardener, all are welcome to share their love of nature and enjoy the social events.

Broadclyst History Society

The Broadclyst History Society meets once a month

Location: The Green Room, Victory Hall, Broadclyst

Broadclyst Social Club

Broadclyst Social Club is based in the heart of the village. Being adjacent to the Victory Hall means that there is ample parking close by, and a bus service to Exeter just outside the door.

Whether you are looking to play pool, snooker, skittles or darts, or just sit with friends and family and have a social drink, the club is equipped to provide all you need.

Established in the 1950’s, the club has been providing quality entertainment for its members for over 70 years.

Regular live music, BT and SKY TV and other entertainment is available, with drinks served at Social Club Prices including great prices on real ale.

Membership is just £10 a year, and if you would like to pop in and have a look around, visitor fees are just £1.

Broadclyst Theatre Group

Broadclyst Theatre Group delights, entertains and enthralls with an annual pantomime as well as additional performances through the year.

Whether you are interested in developing costumes, seeking out props, designing posters or programmes, lighting, sound or working backstage, or even acting(!) we would love to hear from you.

Broadclyst Twinning Association

Broadclyst Twinning Association was formed in 2006 to foster friendships and exchanges between the residents of Broadclyst and Plobannalec-Lesconil on the south coast of Brittany, with the twinning formalised in 2010 with the signing of the second charter.

With a fun-packed social calendar, the Broadclyst branch of the Women's Institute welcomes old and new members alike to enjoy events and evenings, inlcuding chocolate making!

Community Cafe

The Broadclyst Community Café takes place on Thursday mornings, between 9.15am and 12pm, in the Social Club (next to Victory Hall’s Green Room), and has been run by Danielle for the last 9 years.

This is a non-profit café, with prices for hot drinks ranging from £1.20 to £1.70, along with very reasonably priced homemade cakes! They even have toast and crumpets, for those who enjoy a light breakfast.

The Café is open to all, with a lovely friendly environment for young and old alike, and all ages in between!
